A.S. Mink was born in the Netherlands but raised in rural Ireland during the 1970s. She has published a short non-fiction piece in Silver Apples literary magazine, sharing her experiences as a young immigrant living with her family in a traditional cottage in Ireland. Her work has been recognised in several writing competitions, including being shortlisted in the Mslexia novella competition and longlisted in Mslexia’s Novel competition. Additionally, Mink won the Grindstone Opening Lines competition on Twitter with the opening line of her book.
